The first hints of spring have made their way to Michiana but, unfortunately for nature-lovers itching to get outside, it could be awhile before the ground thaws and the first pops of color make their way through the soil.
This project is perfect for those who are anxious to feel the dirt beneath their fingers, smell the flowers and brighten their day. Simply put, this project is designed to bring the outside in.
My favorite part about this indoor jar garden is how much it can be customized to what fits with your life and style. I chose to use pickle jars, but mason jars would also be a great option. I decided to grow flowers but these would also be perfect for growing herbs indoors to get a garden started.
This is a quick and easy project that can help brighten the dog days of winter!
